Photograph in Attaleia

An official studio portrait of ancestors of the Kiourmetzoglou family, photographed in Attaleia around 1900. The carefully staged studio setting, European fashion garments, and refined accessories attest to social prosperity and a pronounced urban identity—characteristic features of affluent Asia Minor families of the period.

Donated to the collection of the Alaya Association by Iro Kourmetzoglou, it is exhibited at the ALAYA Cultural Centre.
