Ottoman Title Deed (Tapu)

An official Ottoman land registry and title document from the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876–1909). It bears the Sultan’s tughra, the seal of the Ministry of the Interior, and a validation stamp. It records the holder’s details together with basic civil registry data and property information. The document is a characteristic example of Ottoman bureaucracy in the late 19th to early 20th century.
