Ottoman Empire banknote of 5 kuruş, issue 1331/1915, from the reign of Sultan Mehmed V Reşad. It features the imperial tughra and ornate decoration in an eastern stylistic idiom, as well as the imprint of the German printing house Giesecke & Devrient. It circulated during the First World War.
